Large Powder Measure Charge Adjust Shaft/Knob for Dillon

If you own a Dillon metallic cartridge reloading press you know two things -- it is a fine machine but adjusting the powder charge is a pain in the butt.  This auction item changes the pain to a delight, well maybe that is a little exaggeration.  Let's just say that this adjustment shaft/knob assembly makes it very easy to change the powder charge.  The pictures below should convince you to make reloading easier by replacing the hex head bolt with this unit.  The shaft is crafted from 18-8 stainless steel and the knob is plastic with knurls on the outer edge.  It is a nice size for the mission -- 1.5" diameter, 0.375" wide. 

This auction is for ONE large blue knob/shaft.

A hemispherical index mark is milled into the face of the knob and filled with high visibility yellow paint.  This aids in the measure adjust by providing a reference position for consecutive adjustments.

This item will work on both the LARGE and SMALL powder bars.  This item replaces the original hex bolt.  The original flat washer and spring washer are retained and used with the installation of this shaft/knob assembly.  Color illustrated instructions are included.  The swap takes just a couple of minutes.  The item will work with the powder measure on the following models of Dillon metallic cartridge reloaders:

• Square Deal
• RL550
• XL650
• RL1050

In addition it will work with the powder measure AND shot measure of the Dillon SL900 shotshell reloader.
