Vintage Post WWII 12 GA SXS Shotgun

Made by the venerable

firm of W.W. Greener of London,

this is a very fine and exquisite side by side shotgun

with 30” barrels. This specimen, serial

number 31524 appears to be all original

and retains just about all of its original blued finish on barrels.

The bores are near mint. The wood is finely figured

English walnut with very slender wrist, hand

checkered pistol grip stock, extractors, double triggers

and choked improved and full. The wood is in excellent condition as well and the markings are sharp on barrel with W.W. Greener address, patent markings, etc.

It has original “aged” red rubber buttpad which has partially deteriorated from the usual “standing up on the hearth next to the fireplace” but we have INTENTIONALLY NOT REPLACED as collectors we have found wish to retain piece in its original condition.
