Seller's Description:
LYMAN Middlefield Conn. is a black powder rifle in .54 cal. with a 29" hex barrel. This muzzle loader is made in Italy and has a solid mechanical action, very fine stock and cheekpiece and brass triggerguard and buttplate. Rightside plate has good case color with all markings clear and sharp. Cleaning rod seems original, the barrel has some surface rust at the muzzle. Length overall, 45 3/4" and weight 9 lbs. Serial #219682.
