Neil Fields is a contemporary builder from Vernal, Utah. This rifle has a Walnut pistol grip Monte Carlo stock of the Alexander Henry style, stock is in excellent condition, no cracks, no chips, no repairs, with Horn forearm cap, with rosewood grip cap, and steel butt plate and trigger guard. The Rayl barrel is 45 caliber 31" long 7/8" octagon, vee rear sight and long blade front sight both dovetailed for adjustment, with steel es cushions and ram rod pipes, hooked barrel take off held in place with key. Excellent lock with strong main spring, two position hammer, silver side plate, solid lock no slop. Sling eyes and ram rod. There is 80% blue remaining. All in all this rifle rates Very good++ near to excellent. Antique no FFL required. Look at my feedback at other gun auction sites I have a very good reputation.
