THIS AUCTION IS FOR A VINTAGE REMINGTON MODEL 700 BDL IN CALIBER .243 WINCHESTER. IT HAS A 22 INCH BARREL WITH A VERY GOOD BORE THAT IS NICE AND SHINEY. COMES WITH REDFIELD BASE AND RINGS. STOCK HAS BEEN UPGRADED TO A REMINGTON SUPERCELL STOCK. BARREL IS STAMPED XL WHICH TRANSLATES TO DECEMBER 1964 FOR MANUFACTURE DATE. I HAVE SHOT THIS RIFLE AND IT CONSISTENTLY GROUPS IN A NICKEL AT 50 YARDS. NICE TRIGGERPULL (THAT IS ADJUSTABLE) AND A VERY SMOOTH BOLT. VERY LITTLE RECOIL WITH THIS SUPER CELL STOCK. METAL SURFACES HAVE SOME SURFACE RUST (FROM STORAGE) ON THEM THAT SHOULD EASILY CLEAN UP. ABOVE INFORMATION WAS ON TAG ATTACHED TO RIFLE THAT WAS IN "OLD TIMERS" GUNSHOP MARKED "NOT FOR SALE" PERSONAL WEAPON. SUPER ACCURATE AND A PLEASURE TO SHOOT.
