what a classic here! this is a model 1892 chambered in 44-40. Has octogon barrel and all original. most blueing is gone with avery nice plumb patina present. metal in great shape no bad pits of any sort. would is beautiful with a few handling marks and perfect metal to wood fit with no shrinkage. rifling is bright and shiny and i have personally shot this rifle and it is very accurate and functions flawlessly. it is a great piece of history and beautiful firearm. can not sell to california. because this gun was made in 1895 all i need is a license to ship to your doorstep. I will offer a layaway plan for this firearm 20% down with in 7 days remainder to be paid in full by 90 days. email with any questions please. i am also open for trades, just let me know what you have. thank you
