Nice old original SEAR SPRING for US 1855-1865 Civil War Muskets, + all Trapdoor Rifles + Carbines, 1865-1893. Springfield Armory used the same sear springs from 1855-1893. Good to have several of these on hand if you handle Civil War Muskets + Trapdoors. The Sear Spring is the small V shaped spring that fits in the rear part of the lock. It powers the sear, which powers the trigger. Your bid is for ONE original. Repros are available elsewhere, this is for you if you want your gun ALL ORIGINAL.
