Original TOP BARREL BAND for the 7mm Mauser rifles , M-91, 93, 95.+ others. IMPORTANT NOTE- It is NOT for the 8mm 98 Mauser. And most likely not German, as they did not use 7mm rifles. Other countries, mostly Spanish + Latin America, + others. Definitely correct for the Spanish Mauser in the 1898 Spanish-American War. Might even have been used there. From the old Bannerman warehouse of years ago. They bought up most of the Spanish-American War surplus militaria of both sides. An inexpensive historical item.
