Rare old original SIDE LOCK SCREW, for the .54-.58 Civil War Austrian Rifle-Musket, 1850s-1860s. It is one of 2 long screws with wide heads that hold the lock on to the gun. Good used condition with decent original threads, + OK slot, easily refinishable to excellent. Not beat, gnarled or buggered. Can be used just as it is, most likely no fitting needed on most original guns. Ease it in with oil. Seems high for just a screw, but if you want to go all original, it may be worth it. No one else still has these. Very few still available. Or, you can economize with my other listing for - "SIDELOCK + TANG SCREWS, For MUSKET, SUBST", (with some rework required).
