Gun retains 90% finish overall. Some pitting on the rear band spring. Excellent stock with clear cartouches and P proofs behind the trigger guard. The barrel date and makers mark are NOT present for some reason, although the P on the underside of the barrel is nice and crisp. Excellent bore with super crisp and very desirable 6 GROOVE RIFLING! We do not believe the barrel to have had the markings removed from the top, rather, it would appear that it was made this way. Original front sight hood. Adjustable rear sight. Appears to be mostly Remington made parts. Excellent working order. All original, no modifications. Not import marked. This is a rare opportunity to buy a very scarce and desirable 6 groove WWII 03A3. This is a very early production Smith-Corona, with an extremely hard to find 6 groove barrel. All in all, a super scarce gun! Serial number is 3622098
