Seller's Description: C&R LISTED!! NO RESERVE!! This classic Sako Riihimaki target rifle is in .222 Remington caliber. It has a 23 1/2 inch barrel. The length of pull is 13 11/16 inches to the original butt plate. The rifle weighs 7 pounds 10 ounces. The rifle looks like it was never used. There are small handling marks overall with a couple of rubs on the barrel. The barrel has some scattered very light surface pitting in places. The pitting appears to be under the factory finish. We cannot account for this, and we do not feel the barrel was ever refinished or "touched" up. It would be impossible to try and match the finish. If someone would have refinished the barrel, they would have removed the light surface pitting without problems. One has to look closely in most places to see this. There is surface spydering at the muzzle, but this may be from long term storage in a gun case. Please see photos. The rifle has been tapped for the scope mounts that are present with the rifle. The metallic sights present are factory standards of course. There is one factory magazine with the rifle. The bore is like new, and the mechanics appear to be fine. If you don't need a mint example of this classic rifle, this offering will be of interest to you. USPS, ground, priority rate, insured shipping with delivery confirmation for this item TO MANY U.S. addresses will be approximately $40.00. We will confirm shipping and packaging costs when we know the high bidder's zip code. C&R LISTED!! NO RESERVE!! Please see our other firearms now being offered on Auction Arms at this time.
