Over the past 40 years R.L. “Larry” Wilson has become the most prolific and respected authors regarding the arms collecting, He has authored over

two dozen books, mostly on Colt firearms-and all have become classics. His books on Winchester, arms engraving, etc are legendary as well. About 5 years ago Hansen & Hansen had the good fortune to purchase memorabilia from the R. L. Wilson

collection. Recently we had acquired additional material including many books from larry’s personal reference library. This “set” is offered to the Colt collector and should make a wonderful display in any Colt collection. Offered are the original large,

oversized “galley” photos which are the publisher’s proofs for Wilson’s book The Peacemakers. These final proofs measure approximate 16” x 36” and constitute each page of the final published work. Each page covered and protected with tissue-beautiful in clarity an color. Also included is a copy of that final published book. Hansen & Hansen will include documentation letter attesting to this being part of the Wilson collection.
