Description

Seller's Description:
To USA ONLY. You get ONE. Rare old original Kentucky-size TUMBLER for a small flintlock or early percussion lock, 1700s - 1850. In a flintlock or percussion gun, the Tumbler is the moving part that holds the hammer to the lockplate, + engages the inside mainspring. The hammer is secured to the Tumbler with a hammer screw, not included here. This Tumbler is the early type, in which the mainspring end bears directly on the Tumbler inside, + does not use a detachable stirrup, like the Civil War era Tumblers. Drop-in fit for the English 1700s Tower pistol. Will fit others also, pistol + rifle. Well suited for Kentucky rifles, many of whose tumblers do not use a stirrup. The shank is 1/4 inch diameter. So the tumbler hole in your lockplate should be 1/4 inch, or close to it. Well worth having, even if not a close fit, will still be a great help in making a presentable wall-hanger or display piece by at least getting a hammer on to the lockplate. However, I do have the Bridle, same price, your choice. NO SEARS now. Will send TUMBLER if not specified. Good solid condition, with some understandable average pitting which does not detract from its use, when installed on your lock. Two good notches. Well suited for a flintlock or percussion pistol, or small Kentucky type rifle lock. Good to have one on hand if you handle flintlock + percussion pistols + small lock rifles. A rare opportunity. Several available, your bid is for ONE ITEM of those shown, except NO SEARS . The Tumbler is the bottom. Will send TUMBLER if not specified. Check, MO to- MICHAEL BARNES. NO PAYPAL. No other pics, but let my 5,000+ stoneman61 ebay Feedbacks speak for me. Each is well worth 25.00 + more today. Start ONE item LOW at 9.95. Add 2.95 S+H. Include AUCTION TITLE with payment, And which item. Will send TUMBLER if not specified. USA ONLY. Pick ONE ITEM. AND FREE - One US ww-2 cent clearly dated 1941, or 1942 included if mentioned with patment this month, proving you read the Description. NO SEARS NOW.
