ALL THREE Civil War musket small internal lock screws, for all US Springfield
type 1855-1865 .58 muskets, + 1866-1872 50-70 Trapdoors. Also, exact perfect
fit for all 1873-1893 45-70 Trapdoors, if shortened slightly. The Trapdoor 45-
70 screws were actually shortened Civil War musket screws. You can easily
shorten them by by grinding the ends slightly, + smoothing over with fine
sandpaper. Fast + easy. These are the 3 screws that go inside the lockplate, +
hold the inside parts on. (NOT the long sidelock screws that hold the lock on
to the musket.) Proper names are: Bridle Screw, Sear Screw, + Sear Spring
Screw. Now also listed separately, if you don`t want all three. Outstanding condition, about mint, perfect threads + slots, MY BEST. Due to the
rising costs of Muskets + Trapdoors, many buyers are now requiring an OPEN LOCK
INSPECTION before buying . What they see inside may make or break your
