THIS IS A REMINGTON HEPBURN WITH A 30" HEAVY OCTAGON BARREL. THE BARREL MEASURES 1 1/16" AT THE MUZZLE. THE MARKINGS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BARREL ARE AS FOLLOWS: 44 2 4 OVER 10 38. THE CHAMBER MEASURES APRROXIMATELY 2 1/2" DEEP. I ASSUME THE CALIBER IS 44 2 1/2. I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE 38 IS.

THE NUMBERS ON THE RECEIVER, THE BARREL AND THE FOREND ALL MATCH (#4520).

THE REAR SIGHT WAS INSTALLED OVER THE BARREL ADDRESS. THERE IS AN OPEN DOVE-TAIL FOR A FRONT SIGHT (WHICH I DO NOT HAVE).

THE CASE COLORS ON THE RECEIVER ARE TURNING TO SILVER.
