This listing's for a 100% genuine Government Issued Gold Star Mother's pin in original box. These pins were issued beginning in 1947 to recognize the sacrifices and contribution of mothers whom lost loved ones during WWII. Pin is mint. Lever back pin design. Box has only minor signs of age. Ask questions before bidding. I'm selling this 60-something-year-old WW2 era artifact "as is". Check out my other auctions while you're here. I have a blue cover listed as well. I have lots of great collectible militaria available. I get new things all the time. Anything I don't need for my own collection gets listed. I'm also always culling out duplicates and upgrading pieces to my huge collection. You never know what you're going to encounter. SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!!!
