This is an antique #1 sporter rolling block 16 ga shotgun made by Husqvarna. It is the same as a Remington Rolling block, in fact Husqvarna may have modified Remington Rolling Block frames in producing these sporter actions. Parts generally interchange with remingon, the only substantially changed piece is the trigger guard shape. Stocks for military rolling blocks can be fitted to these actions. This one is in good usable condition (with appropriate ammunition) and works well. It would be a good start for a BPCR rifle, or a great classic shotgun for blackpowder loads. The wood is sound and can be used as is for a BPCR. I built one of these (.45-90) in 2000 and have used it competitively at Quigley and other long range gong matches since then. It has well over 10,000 rounds throug it and is as good as the day it was made. These are some of the most dependable actions available. Mine still has the original wood, it works well for the rifle. $25 shipping on this one, slightly more to alaska or hawaii. Antique, no FFL required.
