This is a new Rossi made stainless leveraction rifle in 45-70. This gun is based on the Marlin 336/1895 action. It's a 20" tapered round barrel and comes with a weaver type scope rail in the box, a recoil pad and sling swivel studs on the gun. It came with a 3/4 size big loop lever but was changed to the standard size when the action work was done. Unless you have gloves on the 3/4 big loop can be awkward. It comes with action work by "ROSSI 92 SPECIALIST".......The action job consists of easing up on that loading gate, and cleaning up the sharp edges plus shortening the mag tube spring to make it load easier. The most important, though, is the ejector and extractor are tuned so the gun cycles smoother. The last item is the trigger return spring. It is adjusted for a 3 to 3 1/2 pound pull.
