You are bidding on an original Springfield Armory Model 1839 flintlock musket that was arsenal converted to percussion ignition shortly after it was made using the "Belgian" type conversion. This was America's last flintlock model! I am not an expert on these types of guns, so please ask questions. There are several cartouches on the stock and lots of proof marks.
