PLEASE VIEW MY OTHER AUCTIONS-UP FOR AUCTION IS A WONDERFUL S&W MODEL 28-2. THIS WEAPONS SERIAL NUMBER IS S302660 INDICATING ITS MANUFACTURE DATE TO BE 1967-68. THIS REVOLVER IS BUILT ON A N FRAME, CHAMBERS A SIX SHOT 357 MAG AND A 4" PINNED BARREL. CONDITION RATES AT A 97% ORIGINAL BLUE OR BETTER WITH SLIGHT WEAR ON THE MUZZLE AND ALITTLE WEAR FROM CYLINDER, CYLINDER TURN, AND ALITTLE WAR ON THE DIAMOND CENTER CHECKERED GRIPS FROM BEING CARRIED. THE GRIPS ARE NOT NUMBERED BUT ARE ORIGINAL FROM WHAT I KNOW. THE BORE HAS SHARP LANDS AND GROOVES. COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL BOX THAT NUMBERS TO THE PISTOL AND ITS ORIGINL INSTRUCTION/ PAPERS, SCREWDRIVER, CLEANING ROD,EYELET & WAX PAPER. THE BOX IS SOUND AND HAS ALITTLE WEAR ON THE INSIDE EDGES-BOTTOM HALF. THE MECHANICS ARE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER WITH GOOD TIMING AND LOCK UP. (IT WAS SOLD TO ME BY A RETIRED POLICE OFFICER AND THIS WAS HIS ISSUED WEAPON!)***ALSO INCLUDED WAS THE OFFICERS BELT, S&W HOLSTER, HKS SPEEDLOADERS AND POUCH.
