IT HAS A 6.5" BARREL, ORIGINAL CHECKERED WALNUT GRIPS, EXTERNAL SAFETY AND TARGET STYLE REAR SIGHT. ITS ORIGINAL HIGH POLISH BLUE IS NEAR PERFECT AND WOULD EASILY RATE 99% OR BETTER. IT HAS ONE MINOR MARK WERE THE SAFETY WAS MOVED ABOUT 1/4" AND HIGH EDGE WEAR ON ON SIDE OF THE HAMMER. THESE ARE MINOR-MINOR DESCEPANCIES THIS MODEL WAS INTRODUCED IN 1945 AND THERE WERE APPROXIMATELY 150,000 PRODUCED. . THE MECHANICES ARE IN PERFECT WORKING ORDER...THERE IS NO FIRING PIN PEENING FROM DRY FIRE ABUSE. THE BORE AND MUZZLE FACE ARE EXCELLENT WITH DEEP LANDS AND GROOVES... TRUTHFULLY MY PICTURES DO NOT DO THIS PISTOL JUSTICE. IT APPEARS TO BE IN GOOD MECHANICAL CONDITION AND IN GOOD WORKING ORDER. IT WOULD BE A FINE AUGMENT TO ANY VINTAGE WWII COLLECTOR.
