Some Mossberg .22 rifles including the U.S. military trainers such as the M44US were equipped with green and red safety tabs. These were pressed into two small holes located in the wood stock just behind the safety lever. Auction is for one sGreen plastic safety tab marked with S for "Safe". These were used in Mossberg models: 25, 26, 30, 34, 35, 40, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 50, 51, 140, 142, 144, 146 and 152 and bolt action shotgun models 183, 185, 190 and 195.
