This is a high quality re-creation of Civil War model 1850 US Foot Officer's sword & scabbard! Blade is about 31" long & 1" wide at ricasso & beautifully etched with US, Eagle, Panoply of Arms, Shield, Vine & Scroll, etc. Brass pommel cap & guard with Officer's foliage pattern in guard. Leather grip with deluxe wire wrap. Blued steel scabbard with brass mounts & drag. This is not one of those cheap "nuts & bolts" swords from Pakistan but a high quality beautiful sword. Does not have the cheesy made in Mexico, Pakistan, India or any other import marks. No Import or Maker's marks. I provide these to the US Army for current serving Officers & for Presentation/Award & Retirement purposes Outstanding piece to wear or display! Shipping is $16 Priority in USA.
