Seller's Description: This is a beat-to-hell M1 carbine in .30 carbine caliber. I picked it up at a flea market on a whim. Now I'm out of ammo for it, and it's got to go. I can't see a maker anywhere on it. The receiver has been worked over (see pics), and I don't think it can be restored. Ugly as sin, but it shoots like a new one. Fed all my hollow point winchester hunting ammo without a hitch. It has a Fajen stock with a nice raised cheek piece. But the stock is ugly too. The rear sight is a Williams mounted on the barrel. It comes with two magazines, one shown in the pictures, and one that is rusty but works. Both are 30 rounds. Put up your collectible WWII gun, and haul this one in the truck instead. It will shoot just as well as your other one, and it won't hurt if it gets scratched. You can also keep it to lend to your knucklehead brother-in-law next hunting season. I did mention that it's ugly, right? But it shoots straight and reliably. As an added bonus, I will include an extra barrel in 5.7 Johnson. The barrel is as ugly as the other gun, and it looks like it has been brazed together, but it works. I took it off another gun after I found out how much ammo was going to cost, but I shot it with the 20 rounds that came with that gun. This is an old gun, and can go to an FFL or C&R. I don't have an FFL, so make sure your guy will take a gun from an ordinary citizen. I will include a copy of my id with the gun. Don't bid if this isn't legal in your state. I don't know your laws. Shipping will be $25.00 in the lower 48, more to Alaska and Hawaii. If you have any questions, please ask before you bid. If you live near Altus, Ok, and want to arrange a face-to-face pickup, just let me know. I've just been told that the receiver is '42-43 Winchester, and there is a W on the barrel, halfway between the barrel band and the front sight. But, again, I don't think this can be restored to a collectible status. Look carefully at the receiver in the pics. Payment and Shipping Instructions:
