Browning Model 53 Deluxe Limited Edition 1 of 5000 .32-20 WCF
This auction is for a Browning Model 53 Deluxe Limited Edition 1 of 5000 .32-20 WCF. The Browning Model 53 is the Browning version of the Winchester Model 53 (essentially a half magazine version of the Winchester Model 92). This lever action rifle features a high grade checkered walnut stock, full pistol grip with cap & serrated steel shotgun style butt plate; high polish blue metal finish; 22” tapered barrel with open sights; seven round tubular magazine. Empty weight is ~6 ½ lbs, OAL = 39 5/8”, LOP = 13 ¼”. Only 5000 were manufactured in 1990. This rifle was purchased in 1995 and has fired less than 50 rounds so the bore is mint and there is no visible wear on the action. There are some minor nicks on the underside of the butt stock, a ding/dent on right side of the pistol grip and minor handling marks (see photos). There is a spot on the barrel where blue is thinned (approx 4” behind the front sight, see photos). Includes original factory box and owner’s manual. A very nice 1 of 5000 rifle.

About 50% of our sales are completed via the Haggle. In a Reserve auction if the high bidder does not reach the reserve buy to end the auction the high bidder or the seller may institute what Auction Arms calls a Haggle a one-on-one exchange between buyer and seller to try and come to a mutual agreement on a price.
