Near Mint 1st Model Luftwaffe Dagger & Hanger

and second World Wars is recently acquired

this Nazi-marked 1st Model Luftwaffe dagger with hanger. This specimen is in fine-excellent condition and is part of a collection of over 50 daggers

we have acquired. Manufactured by the

famed firm of Carl Eickhorn. His mark with

squirrel is also stamped on blade. The Blade

is about mint...the sheath near mint with slight wear and a fine blackish patina to silver plated mounts. Just a bit of "chibbling" on one edge of upper mount of sheath (pictured) and same on one side of pommel

of brass grip (pictured). Otherwise mounts have blackish patina to silver plate. Hanger in exc. condition. Nice patina overall to exterior. Nice early piece and wonderful collector’s item.
