OFFERED HERE IS A BEAUTIFUL W W I GERMAN MACHINE GUNNER DRESS BAYONET. - THE BLADE IS 3/4" WIDE BY 21 3/4" LONG. OVERALL LENGTH OF THE BAYONET IS 26". - THE BLADE IS DOUBLE ENGRAVED ( ENGRAVED ON BOTH SIDES ) AND ONE SIDE ALSO HAS THE DISTRICT FLAG ENGRAVED AS WELL. - " IN TREUE FEST " IS ENGRAVED ON BOTH SIDES AS SHOWN. - BLADE CONDITION IS EXCELLENT WITH NO NICKS OR CRACKS. - THE BAYONET HAS ONE GRIP MADE OF OAK AND THE OTHER IS MADE OF WHAT APPEARS TO BE WALNUT. BOTH ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. - THE ATTACHMENT / RELEASE BUTTON WORKS AS IT SHOULD. - SCABBARD IS MADE OF LEATHER AND IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. - THIS IS A 100% ORIGINAL WORLD WAR I PERIOD AND IS AN ULTRA RARE PIECE THAT IS IN ULTRA RARE CONDITION. - PLEASE SEE PICTURES. --- Standard 3 day inspection period.
