Simson & CO., Suhl. Prazisions Karabiner (precision carbine) Single shot. I assume this is caliber .22BB cap (still made by RWS ). It is the only round that I have found that will chamber in it. My research has shown this to likely have been manufactured in the late 20's, early 30's, though it is listed as being made in 22 short or 22 extra long. Barrel says BU Flobert on edge of stock. Barrel also says FLUSS-STAHL KRUPP-ESSEN on top. Receiver says SIMSON in large script letters, then Prazisions Karabiner Simson & Co. Suhl. Barrel, receiver and bolt are all stamped with BU and crowns. Bolt and receiver match. Bore is almost excellent and is rifled. There is a very very tiny pit in the bore a few inches from the muzzle. Almost unnoticeable it's so small, nonetheless, it is there. There is a small line of light pitting on top of barrel, it is approximately 1/4inch by 1/16inch with some minor scuffing around it. Stock has minor dings and dents, worst damage is under forearm (see picture). Barrel, receiver, trigger guard and butt are Nickel/chrome plated? Trigger, sights and bolt are not plated. Appears fully functional and is in all around very nice shape. Please email any questions. Payment is by money order accompanied by a C&R or FFL. Shipping is $6. Feel free to send any insights on this rifle. NOTE: I forgot to put the photo of the bore, so email if you would like it sent to you.
