Seller's Description:
A favorite of Luftwaffe personnel in WWII, this FN M1922
has the German Army Acceptance Stamp E/WaA140 marked in
several places and the German Army Test Proof E/N on the frame,
slide and visible thru ejection port on barrel. Excellent
condition with 90% blue and some holster wear on muzzle. There are machine marks from the manufacturing process over most of the surface. This was common as the finish deteriorated to a dull blue over a less polished surface as the war situtation dictated (See Jan Still's Axis Pistols pg 89-92). Excellent bore.
Magazine
has no markings other than matching serial number lightly
stamped in back. Holster is a Luftwaffee style "drop"
holster in excellent condition. Has "JHG 43" indicating
made in 1943 and inside is stamped "Nur fur lange Browning
Pistole Kal 7.65." Will ship to C&R or FFL holder.
