Here's a used original WW2 shoulder patch for the US Army's 69th Infantry Division. This patch is uniform removed. No damage. It's a bit yellowed and somewhat stained, but it's an absolute original WW2 production patch. That's ALOT more than I can say about 99.9% of the others I've seen offered for sale in recent years. This is a TRUE cut edge patch meaning that it is not partially hemmed like some WW2 patches. Forget a merrowed edge. This patch was made over 20 years before the merrowed edge technique was even invented. Traces of the khaki twill it was embroidered onto are all about the edges. Lots of "snow" on the back too. These 100% cotton fibers do NOT glow under UV light. Patch is made from 100% cotton/rayon fibers, NOT post-war synthetics. NO post-war plastic/sizing applied to the reverse either. See the pics.
