NO RESERVE!! Here's an Ithaca "Lewis Model" Hammerless Side-by-Side. This shotguns was manufactured in 1901, the same year the Lewis Model was introduced. It is a quality one, chambered for 12-gauge shells, and wears 30" twist steel barrels. The chokes appear to be about Full and Full, perhaps slightly more open. The bores are pretty good with just a few very shallow scattered pits toward the chamber. There are no dents and the barrels ring when tapped. There is some minor play at lock-up and the top lever comes to rest at about dead center. The triggers work properly as does the safety. There are essentially no case colors remaining on the frame. The barrels still show good color. The stocks show wear and have probably been sanded in the past. There is a crack behind the frame on the right side and a small chip missing from the buttplate at the toe. There is little doubt that this shotgun accounted for its share of game 100+ years ago. Well used, but not a bad old gun. Buyer pays $25.00 shipping. Your C&R License is acceptable for transfer.
