(( NO CALIFORNIA FIREARMS SALES )) SAMMIE DOUAN offers for auction a vintage SMITH & WESSON 5TH CHANGE, 1903 HAND EJECTOR, I FRAME, 32 S&W LONG REVOLVER. SERIAL NUMBER 247756 in good condition. ABOUT 35%+ ORIGINAL METAL FINISH REMAINS WITH SOME VERY LITE PITTING OVERALL AND NORMAL HANDLING MARKS/SMALL DINGS. ORIGINAL WELL WORN HARD RUBBER GRIPS W/S&W MONOGRAMS ARE NUMBERED TO THIS REVOLVER. 6" BARREL, SMALL S&W MONOGRAM ON SIDE PLATE ( NOT REGULARLY FOUND ). 5 SCREW AND PINNED BARREL. BORE HAS SOME LITE PITTING FROM THE CORROSIVE AMMUNITION OF THE PERIOD BUT RIFLING REMAINS SHARP AND BRIGHT. SOMEONE IN THE DISTANT PAST HAD SCRATCHED WHAT LOOKS LIKE TWO INITIALS ( E O ) IN THE SIDE PLATE. THE ACTION LOCKUP AND TIMING IS ALMOST AS NEW. BARREL IS MARKED ON LEFT SIDE ( 32 LONG CTG ) MANUFACTURED IN ABOUT 1914/15. Thanks for viewing our auction and good luck.
