Poster: INDIANA (User Rating) Rating: Negative When: 11/06/1999 at 02:25:54
Comments: Seller did not provide details of the Rifle, including why the bayonet lug on the rifle in the picture looked moved 1/2 inch closer to the gas block, with the original bayonet lug spot visible on the barrel of the rifle, and also why the barrel looks shorter , the seller did not provide any information, even after repeated messages. The condition of the rifle is suspect, hence I did not proceed with the purchase.

Rebuttal: INDIANA has just lied! I sent him 3 emails to which he replied zero (0) times. I have never received any email from him so for him to say "the seller did not provide any information, even after repeated messages" is a lie. If he would have contacted me I could have told him that the bayonet lugs on all GB models are pressed on from the end. That is why you can see the pressure marks in front of the the lug/sight. If he would have contacted me I could have told him that since this is a stainless model. Every stainless GB has a blued Bayonet lug/sight. That is the way every single stainless was made. If he would have contacted me I could have told him that the barrel is the exact same length as all of the GB models. If he would have contacted me I could have answer any of his questions. However, he has decided to try and cover his butt by saying that he emailed me and I did not email him. I have the proof that my three emails to him were sent and did not bounce back to my server. That means he received them and chose to ignore them. Since he did not contact me at all, I contacted Manny Dela Cruz at Auction Arms and this is what he said: "If you don't hear from the buyer within three days of the auction close, then go to your next bidder. also, if any bidders flake, then you should leave neg feedback - that's how we get rid of deadbeat bidders. -manny" I did as Manny said and left negative feedback. I also contacted the second high bidder. He it buying this piece and is very happy about it! Nice try INDIANA but your lies just won't work this time!
