| Rebuttal: This is a total joke, I did not "assure" anything to this person. And this is a COMPLETLY different scenario than the gunnuts fiasco (that I still feel that I likely was screwed on). This seller may just not be too bright or he would easily see that.
Here's the WHOLE story: I bid on this item. I was sent DIRECT email from him that included a PO Box. I responded DIRECTLY TO HIM that as a matter of policy I send funds Fedx with signature required. After having a few problems with regular mail, I have made this a policy on larger ticket items. After a few days I was sent email again about sending him the funds, BUT STILL NO PHYSICAL ADDRESS. I responded AGAIN (with a copy of original email) that I need a physical address. He finally did send me it to me with a phone number. Said he did not get my original email. I checked my outbox to confirm it was sent. It was sent. At this point I took a couple days to mull this whole deal over, and decided I didn't care for the way the whole thing started out, the way it was going, sensed a red flag, and sent an apologetic mail stating that he's probably an OK guy, (maybe not too smart, but I didn't say that to him) but I'm going to pass on this deal. There has never been a deal I get involved in that I "cannot complete". Availability of funds is not a problem I have. Experience has just taught me that when they start out rocky, stay away. This is not a money issue, this is a people issue. And although I have truly met many people of high integrity, knowledge and honesty, the truth of the matter is that there are quite a few sellers and buyers on AA that lack those qualities. I try to avoid them. I'm a little disturbed that he posted negative feedback on me, but actually, it reinforces my suspicions that this IS a guy to stay away from. |
