| Comments: What we have here is the buyer of your worst nightmare. He had the winning bid on a gun that came from a old collector who was an authority in his field. I inspected the gun prior to putting it up for auction and the gun has a commercial like finish that you will find on an early 1940 commercial proofed HSc's. SAL99's check "was in the mail" for 12 days, until it was actually posted (he told me he had mailed it twice and he really hadn't.) I gave him a 5 day inspection period instead of the required 3 days, then he contracted me 11 days after the 5 day period was over (a total of 16 days), saying there was something wrong with the gun and wanted his money back. I told him there was northing wrong with the gun and the time period was far too long to consider a refund (time is money....). Buyers like SAL99 need to be taught a lesson for the benefit of other using Auction Arms. |

| Rebuttal: Big Dan is a classless individual who resorts to using false advertisement to sell garbage items at full value. He blatently lied in his ad and over a phone conversation in not informing me that the gun had been reblued. If he was selling quality he would have no problem giving refunds, the truth is he knew this was reblued and dosen't want it back. He claims I took too long with payment because he wanted to get back at me for leaving him negative feedback. As for his claims on me as a "nightmare" I will provide anyone who wishes with my ebay user ID(50 positive,0 negative feedback rating). In all my years of collecting he has been the most dishonest person I've dealt with. |
