Rebuttal: This is what happens when you sell to a guy who doesn't understand how antique revolvers are suppose to work. I asked him to return it and I gave him a "full refund". Then he leaves me the feedback above. His rating is "0" and mine is "473". I would have expected a professional response from him.

Buyer: UAB2008 (User Rating) Rating: Neutral When: 01/08/2010 at 13:48:52
Auction: 9485223
Comments: The item was not as described. It was advertised as near 100 % mechanical condition, however, the cylinder would not lock up. The cylinder has some play to it. It would not be safe to shoot the gun. I got my refund less shipping of course which was $29, plus $20 to ship it back.

Rebuttal: This was exactly as described in near 100% mechanical condition. Iver Johnson cylinders DO NOT lock-up, only hand pressure keeps the cylinder from rotating. If you force rotate the cylinder it will appear to have play. This was test fired prior to the sale. Full refund was given less shipping & ins.

Auction: 8118871
Comments: difficulties with transaction, eventually cleared up, substantial delay
Rebuttal left by: buckstix When: 09/08/2007 at 01:37:11
Rebuttal: Buyer's un-knowledgeable Dealer created difficulty with this transaction which caused substantial delay. It is important to find a Dealer that understands the laws regarding firearms transfer. Problems with Buyer's Dealer were eventually cleared. There were no further issues. Rifle was as described.

Comments: he returned for refund...

Rebuttal: My "FIRST" neutral after "44 POSITIVES" in a row. WHAT A BUMMER. I returned this because it wasn't properly described, not listed was that the bore was blocked by screws thru the barrel and firing pin was broken off the hammer. I think these were good reasons for return and I was promptly refunded.
